The Matanzas Bay Buccaneers pirate crew is a tax exempt 501(c)(3) public charity.

 Paul Shane Spear stated, “as one person I cannot change the world, but I can change the world of one person.” It is this ideology of changing the world of one person or one family; coupled with a love for pirate lore and pirate history that binds the Matanzas Bay Buccaneers together as a crew and adds wind to our sails. The MBB crew hosts various fundraising events and activities throughout the year.

 

The Matanzas Bay Buccaneers has and will continue to provide support for organizations such as Dreams Come True of Jacksonville, the Greater St Johns Foster and Adoptive Parents Association, as well as other local charities in 2023.
